To apply for the Assistant Professor (Psychology) post, candidates must meet the following academic qualifications:

  1. Ph.D. in Psychology from a recognized university under the Central or State Act or an institution deemed to be a university under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956.
  2. Postgraduate Degree (Master’s) in Psychology with a first class or equivalent grade at either:
    • Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) level AND
    • Master of Arts (M.A.) level in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or Applied Psychology.
  3. Candidates who have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or the State Level Eligibility Test (SLET/SET) will be given preference.
  4. Computer Literacy:
    • Proficiency in basic computer applications as per Gujarat Civil Services Rules.
