β Experience Requirement:
- At least 1 year of teaching or research experience in the relevant field after obtaining the postgraduate degree.
- Experience should be from a recognized University, College, or Research Institute.
π Educational Qualification
To apply for the Assistant Professor (Psychology) post, candidates must meet the following academic qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Psychology from a recognized university under the Central or State Act or an institution deemed to be a university under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956.
- Postgraduate Degree (Master’s) in Psychology with a first class or equivalent grade at either:
- Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) level AND
- Master of Arts (M.A.) level in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or Applied Psychology.
- Candidates who have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or the State Level Eligibility Test (SLET/SET) will be given preference.
- Computer Literacy:
- Proficiency in basic computer applications as per Gujarat Civil Services Rules.
- Language Proficiency:
- Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi to communicate and teach effectively.
