Eligibility Criteria
Experience
Candidates must have at least one year of teaching or research experience in the relevant field after obtaining their postgraduate degree. The experience must be from a recognized University, College, or Research Institute.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must meet the following academic qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Sanskrit from a recognized university under the Central or State Act or an institution deemed to be a university under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956.
- Postgraduate Degree (Master’s) in Sanskrit with a first-class or equivalent grade at either:
- Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) level
- Master of Arts (M.A.) level in Sanskrit language and literature
- Candidates who have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or the State Level Eligibility Test (SLET/SET) will be given preference.
