Experience Requirement:
At least 1 year of teaching or research experience in the relevant field after obtaining the postgraduate degree from a recognized University, College, or Research Institute.
π Educational Qualification
Candidates must meet the following academic qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Geology from a recognized university under the Central or State Act or an institution deemed to be a university under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956.
- Postgraduate Degree (Master’s) in Geology or Applied Geology with a first class or equivalent grade at either:
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) level (Geology as the main subject) AND
- Master of Science (M.Sc.) level in Geology or Applied Geology.
β Additional Requirements:
- Candidates who have cleared NET (UGC) or SLET/SET will be given preference.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in basic computer applications as per Gujarat Civil Services Rules.
- Language Proficiency: Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi to communicate and teach effectively.
